Caserta to Positano transfer

Your driver waits in front of the Palace’s main entrance on Piazza Carlo di Borbone, or at your accommodation. The park runs three kilometres: if you exit from the far end, we agree the pickup point in advance.

The drive from Caserta to Positano covers about 85 km and takes about 2 hours. The final stretch runs along the coast road carved into the cliff, a sequence of bends and tunnels with the sea straight below — spectacular to look at, demanding to drive. Your driver knows every curve and every passing point, so you can watch the view instead of the road.

The last few kilometres into Positano are the slow ones: narrow road, limited traffic zones and very few places where a car can legally stop. The driver takes you to the closest point your accommodation can actually be reached from and helps with the luggage — worth telling us the exact address when booking, because in these villages the difference between one corner and the next is a flight of steps.

We drop you as close to your hotel entrance as the road allows. Where the staircase is long, your driver helps with your cases for the first stretch and, if needed, puts you in touch with the property’s porter service.

Positano is built vertically into a rock amphitheatre: pastel houses, staircases and a single one-way road descending to the beach. It has no train station and the public buses are usually full, so a private transfer is genuinely the most sensible way to arrive with luggage.
