The journey from Naples Airport to Port of Naples covers about 8 km and takes about 15 minutes, mostly on motorway and main roads. It is a comfortable, straightforward leg: you leave when you decide, with no changes and no waiting for connections.
Travelling to Port of Naples, the time you leave matters more than the time you arrive: we suggest departing about 1 hour 30 minutes before your boarding, which covers the drive plus the wait at the terminal. Tell us the boarding time when you book and we work backwards from it — including the morning traffic on this stretch, which is not the same as the afternoon one.

The drive· Tangenziale di Napoli · Via Marina
The drive comes down from the airport to the sea along Via Marina, the port artery: on sailing mornings it is the slowest road in the city. If you have a boat to catch, the deadline does not move — build your margin around the traffic, not around the hydrofoil.
Molo Beverello is the terminus, so the bus really does get you there; but it goes via Piazza Garibaldi and the whole of Via Marina in between. With a boat to catch, all the risk sits in that half hour.
