We collect you from your accommodation, from Termini station or from an agreed point. The historic centre has a limited traffic zone: where we cannot drive in, we agree a meeting point a few steps away in advance, rather than leaving you to work it out with your suitcases.
The journey from Rome to Pozzuoli covers about 234 km and takes about 2 hours 55 minutes, mostly on motorway and main roads. It is a comfortable, straightforward leg: you leave when you decide, with no changes and no waiting for connections.
The last few kilometres into Pozzuoli are the slow ones: narrow road, limited traffic zones and very few places where a car can legally stop. The driver takes you to the closest point your accommodation can actually be reached from and helps with the luggage — worth telling us the exact address when booking, because in these villages the difference between one corner and the next is a flight of steps.
We drop you at your address, at the ferry terminal or at the entrance of the site you want to visit. The area is hilly and the roads down to the seafront are narrow: your driver picks the easiest approach for your exact destination.
Pozzuoli is the heart of the Phlegraean Fields, the volcanic area west of Naples with the Flavian Amphitheatre, the Rione Terra and still-active craters. It is also the port with the fastest ferries to Ischia and Procida — often more convenient than Beverello if you are coming from the airport.
